Cricket Ventures is a small company based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Our primary
focus is retail sales via the internet. We believe that our best chance to be successful
in this vast marketplace is to specialize in very specific types of products.
Our primary means of marketing our products is by developing web sites focused on the
specific product types that we sell. We occasionally use online auction sites and
targeted email campaigns to promote our products as well.
By specializing, we can become experts in the products that we sell. This gives us the
ability to answer detailed technical questions about the products, and to make informed
product recommendations. We feel that this gives us a significant advantage over larger
internet retailers that carry thousands of products.
Whenever possible, we buy our products directly from the manufacturer instead of going
through a distributor. We are also a small company and try to keep our overhead low.
This allows us to compete on price with small retailers, and online auction sites.
We are focused on product types falling within the consumer electronics
relm, currently radar detectors and
2 way radios. We plan to continue to
launch new sites in the future, specializing in other types of products. For more
